The frame is complete, and we've just marked the occasion with a topping out ceremony. Jake was the youngest of the Carpenter Oak team and so sent up to the top to attach an oak branch. Apparently the ceremony is an old Scandanavian tradition, and brings good luck to the carpenters - and to appease the gods and spirits that have been dislodged from the trees used in the build (in this case, French gods and spirits, as the oak is all from France - a legacy of Napolean's plannng for the ship building industry - bonne chance!)
