Nearly finished

After another day, the oak frame is fully assembled, and Ben tells me there is just a morning's work left to make sure everything is in exactly the right place, and tie it all down with brackets to the floor. The brackets will be hidden, as the finished floor will be at the level of the notches cut into each oak post. 

Its difficult to see the two storey oak screen, behind the scaffolding ... but its there!
