The far side

Most of the scaffolding was taken down yesterday, now that there is only the low-level cedar cladding remaining to be done. This has for the first time allowed us to see the porch, where the front door will be (where the celotex board is now)
and see along the back walk-way from the porch to the door into the utility. The rather crooked posts are only temporary!
This is a new view, from the end of the scaffolding pier, looking at the back door into the utility: the next section of cedar cladding will be horizontal, between the vertical and the red brick sections.
And I spent a soggy couple of hours cleaning the concrete slab, ready for the brickwork which should be done this week, in time for me to spend the Christmas break constructing the workshop walls. I also took down much of the walnut, which was overhanging ... and then I had to clean the concrete slab all over again! Duh!
