The house is being switched over from the temporary power system - a huge transformer that has been powering all the temporary lights - to its own circuits. This is the upstairs shared en-suite, with tiling finished and ready for grout, under its own light.
We also have a
fancy new cooker waiting to be installed - we've gone from the iron age (a gas Aga with one
basic control, the gas tap) to fully electric, with an induction hob
and "mutli-function" ovens! It'll take a bit of getting used to...
