Work has begun on the main living room floor. We spent ages trying to work out the best way to lay the tiles, to make the most of the curved walls, and decided to divide the area into segments, by linking the oak posts with an oak floorboard, and then use a staggered brick bond within each segment.
Even with only one segment tiled, its made the room look very large again. The yellow stuff is an underlay material, providing a bit of flexibilty for the tile layer.
And after another day, another segment is tiled.
