Reaching the roof

The curved back wall has reached its final height, and now the rafter extensions are going up along this wall too.
While on top of the rafters, the roof is starting to be built. The first layer above the rafters is 100mm of insulation, then a breather membrane. Mike is wandering around very carefully on top of this, hoping not to step right at the edge of a ecotherm panel where he'll end up with his foot going through the roof!
And on top of the breather, a set of battens, creating a ventilation gap, before a layer of plywood is added (which will finally make the roof safe to walk on!). After the plywood will come some sort of underlay, and then the zinc.
