Ian has installed the boxes that will house gas and electricity meters, and the electricity supply should be coming next week.
Western Power plan to close off Bear Hill one side at a time to dig a trench across to the main supply cable - and it costs a small fortune! Unfortunately no other companies were interested in doing the work - those that are licensed to do electrical installations only seem keen to do entire housing estates, or commercial buildings, so a single house like ours isn't worth their trouble.
