With good weather I made better progress on the roof. There's a small section at the back still to be done, and then the hip ridges.
The preparations for the drain are also moving ahead - they have excavated a large section where the drains cross our boundary, to install a flow restrictor. This is a box that makes the water spin in a vortex, to slow its flow as it enters the mains. This is needed as we are joining both surface water and foul water into the main foul sewer; there isn't an available surface water drain nearby.
