The scaffolding has come down, exposing the finished roofline - zinc is all in place, and Mike tells me that they should now start work on the bulkhead - as he calls it - just below, that will form the wall between the top of the windows and the roof.
Meanwhile, preparations for the underfloor heating are going ahead. A thick layer of polystyrene form, topped with a thinner layer of Celotex insulation has been laid to level up the floors upstairs.
